(LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) program annual Winter Formal is around the corner. It will be held on Friday, Jan. 10 from 6p.m. to 11p.m. at the Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. Although it is a private event, each cadet can bring a guest. The Winter Formal is not only part of the JROTC curriculum, but shows the cadets proper customs, courtesies, and formal protocols. Former Mustang and current Dartmouth freshman Jonathan Reid, is racing track and running cross-country at the Division I level. In Reid’s high school career, his personal records included a 4:15.59 in the 1600m, a 1:56.16 in the 800m, and a 9:24.58 in the 3200m. (LAKEWOOD RANCH, FL) – The LRHS softball team continues to storm through the season with a perfect record after winning the Class 8A-Region 2 semifinal game Wednesday night. The team defeated Tarpon Springs East Lake, taking home the win in the fifth inning 10-0, ending the game in a mercy rule. The Mustangs are ranked first in the nation with a record of 28-0.
